FedRAMP Five Awards - Accepting Nominations!

FedRAMP turns six this year! As a way to celebrate, we’re introducing awards to recognize government partners who have helped FedRAMP grow, develop, and improve over time. The first ever awards - which we’re calling the “FedRAMP Five” - will give recognition to some of the Agency partners to whom we owe our success.

The FedRAMP Five Awards will be given in the following categories:

Large AgencyThe Large Agency Award recognizes the CFO Act Agency CFO Act Agency that demonstrates exceptional leadership through excellent responsiveness and communication, thought leadership, and a willingness to partner with the FedRAMP PMO to help improve the FedRAMP program.
Small AgencyThe Small Agency Award recognizes the non-CFO Act Agency that demonstrates exceptional leadership through excellent responsiveness and communication, thought leadership, and a willingness to partner with the FedRAMP PMO to help improve the FedRAMP program.
Large Agency Tech LeadThe Large Agency Tech Lead Award is given to a CFO Act Agency leader who implements FedRAMP within their Agency, practices an interactive approach within the FedRAMP authorization process, and ensures compliance.
Small Agency Tech LeadThe Small Agency Tech Lead Award is given to the non-CFO Act Agency leader who implements FedRAMP within their Agency, practices an interactive approach within the FedRAMP authorization process, and ensures compliance.
Future LeaderThe Future Leader Award recognizes an Agency employee (from either a large or small Agency) who demonstrates exceptional knowledge, skill, and leadership in their Agency’s FedRAMP adoption efforts. To qualify, this individual must have worked in government for five years or less, as of June 6, 2018.

To submit a nomination, please visit our nominations page. You will be asked to include your contact information, the name of the Agency or individual, and a brief nomination of 100 words or less. Candidates can nominate themselves, and a nominator can submit multiple nominations. Nominators do not need to be government employees, but awardees must either be an Agency (large or small) or federal government employee.

If you’re unable to use Google Forms, please email us at info@fedRAMP.gov using the subject line “FedRAMP Five Nomination” with the following content:

  • Submitter Name and Contact Information
  • Nomination Category
  • Nominee Full Name
  • Nominee Contact Information
  • Nomination (100 words or less)

The nomination period closes on April 30th, and winners will be announced on June 6th, FedRAMP’s birthday.

Please note that FedRAMP Five is a public recognition award and does not include any monetary or material prizes.
