The GSA Star Mark and Seal

The GSA Star Mark

Since 2000, the GSA Star Mark has represented the visual identity of the GSA brand. In 2026, GSA established a dual corporate brand identity, utilizing the GSA Seal—first authorized for use by the Truman administration—as the official mark for official, ceremonial, and administrative communications, while the GSA Star Mark continues to serve as the identifier for outreach, marketing, and promotional communications.

The GSA Star Mark is trademarked and the official graphical identifier of the U.S. General Services Administration and cannot be used without explicit permission. The GSA Star Mark is not a required graphic when using the FedRAMP logo. If there’s interest in using the GSA Star Mark, please follow the GSA logo policy to request written permission from the GSA Office of Strategic Communication.
